Joyetech eGo AIO ECO Kit - Reviewed
« on: February 13, 2018, 01:25:36 PM »

Is it a straw? Is is a marker Pen? No its the new eGo AIO ECO from Joyetech! (what a mouthfull that was!)

Ok quick little review of the new starter kit from Joyetech, Going to try and keep this short, just a few thoughts. But first off...

eGo AIO ECO Specs:

Size: 14.0mm*113.0mm
E-liquid capacity: 1.2ml
Battery capacity: 650mAh
Coil: BFHN 0.5ohm head
Max charging current: 1A
Color: Black, Red, Blue, Grey, Green

Joyetech eGo AIO ECO Kit - In The Box

2x BFHN 0.5ohm head
1x USB cable
1x Silicon ring
1x Quick Start
1x Warranty card
1x Warning card

All About The AIO ECO

Ok its small, that small in fact it could indeed be mistaken for a permanent marker pen. Its the same kind of size and shape.

It has a 650mAh battery, that fires at a constant 1.85v output, and you have a 0.5ohm coil so this gives you around about 6.8w. It does feel like more. I only use 2mg (0.2%) nic strength so I'm not really getting a hit from this, but I do believe it was designed for use with nic salts, or at least a higher strength liquid. So using either of those is going to give you a pretty good hit, which is of course great for a new vaper, or someone that has to take a vape at timed intervals (ie at work, or indoors where vaping isn't allowed!) Not for one minute saying you should vape where you're not allowed to, but if you're desperate for a nicotine hit, then this teamed up with some 18mg nic salts is going to take care of that craving

Back to the battery, I actually have no idea how long this lasts, it's claim is 'ECO technology' which according to Joyetech means the battery lasts twice as long as it would normally.  I haven't used it enough to see how many vapes you can get, but the Joyetech site states around 300 hits. Charging is via a the port on the side next to the button. There is a little red light while it's charging and this will go out once the AIO is fully charged.

The tank holds 1.2ml of liquid, and is super easy to fill, just unscrew the top cap fill and replace the cap. When you need to change the atty, you do need to empty the tank, slide the glass off and pop the new atty in (after you've taken the old one out of course) As I just mentioned once the top is off, the glass does just slide up, so be tempted to have a play with a tank full of liquid or you will need tissues at the ready!

There is an LED that lights up while you vape kind of in the tank, and around the band just under the tank. This can be turned off, and also changed to whichever of the 7 colours that takes your fancy. All you need to is switch the AIO off by clicking the button 5 times, then hold the fire button for around 5 to 7 seconds, the light will illuminate, then you just keep pressing the button to cycle through the colours. When you reach the colour you want (or no light if you want to switch it off) just stop pressing and that will set the colour. 5 clicks to switch back on.

Apparently there is an 'optional' top cap with smaller holes. Not sure what optional means as I only got the one top cap in box, so maybe its up to suppliers whether you get two caps or just one.

How does the AIO ECO vape?

It's ok, I always tend to think back to when I quit smoking using the old Joyetech EGO products and compare things to that. I think with nic salts this would be great for a new vaper, but for someone whos been vaping a for while, they might not want to hike up the nic content to get some sort of hit from this.

But... it does work well. The flavour is good and clean, I can get a somewhat restricted lung hit with this, and also mouth to lung. However you will not get huge clouds with the AIO ECO, which to be honest if you're using it as a stealth device, you don't want clouds anyhow.

Final Thoughts

As a starter  kit, and with high nic e-liquid it will do the job that its made for. Its very small, discreet (with the light turned off) It would definitely suit a new vaper, or someone wanting a stealth device for a while. However with this being an all in one device (you can't change the  battery) You may want to pick up a spare so you don't get caught out with a flat battery.

Ceekays Shack Score

It can't really have a score as it just doesn't do enough, but it does tick all the boxes for a starter device so it can have a simple thumbs up!

Here in the UK these are selling for around £20 - £25, but if you want to grab a bargain you can pick one up from Vapesourcing for $13.90!! Whaaat!  :oooo: I bet they can't even make them for that price! Get it here!

A massive thanks to Tom over at Vapesourcing for sending this out for me to try!  :wink2:

Yeah it is Zim, although I don't think anything can beat the the old Ego (tornado) kits, they were awesome. I sometimes think in moving forwards manufacturers are going backwards! lol
